Happy 250th birthday to the United States Army!
The Continental Army was the army of the thirteen colonies and later the United States during the American Revolutionary War. It was formed on June 14, 1775, by resolution passed by the Second Continental Congress, meeting in Philadelphia after the war’s outbreak at the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. The Continental Army was formed before our Declaration of Independence. June 14th is the US Army’s birthday and Flag Day. Celebrate both today and your love of this great country! Happy 250th to the US Army and thank you to all who served in this terrific military service!
